Is a Cheap Virtual Pet Worth It?

Ebay is a wonerous place. You can find some great deals, but this is not one of them.

I have a small collection of virtual pets and I thought it would be fun to review what was clearly a bad financial descision. 

I bought this virtual pet knowing it was going to be a Chinese knockoff. I was correct! Despite the Tamagotchi characters at the top this is a low quality and cheap.

As you can see, it was cheap. You get what you pay for!

I the actual product is very lightweight. So much so you can tell it’s missing parts. The see through pink part at the top would normally house some sort of sensor. The shell comes from a Tamagotchi Connection. I owned a real one but I don’t remember what it was supposed to do. As you can see, there is nothing in the housing. 

In addition to the empty casing the back panel isn't on straight and the paint is chipped. As far as I can tell it dosen't do anything other than scroll through pictures of different pets. If it does do something else I can't figure out what and the instruction are in some Asian language. The screen is super hard to read and the whole toy is trash. 

I give this toy a 2/10 because I got a battery out of the deal. Unless you are looking to be disapointed don't buy cheap Chinese toys. 

I guarentee I will do it again!!
